We were served by Ivo, who made our stay pleasant and peaceful.

We came across “Egur Egur” quite by chance (there is nothing by chance in this life:) on our way to “Victoria” (which we never got to), for a late dinner after the first day of a laughter therapy course with …. Monica Balayan.
We have visited Armenian restaurants before (most recently the one in Kostinbrod which is a hidden gem) and we have always been left with wonderful impressions. The atmosphere in this old building is quite aristocratic (for our standards) and although some of the furniture is new and more budget-friendly, it gives the feeling of coziness and warmth. The service was extremely polite and competent, and the food was delicious and we liked it a lot. The portions are not large, but this has its own plus - you can try more things (the menu is quite rich and varied). At slightly higher prices than the fast food of “Happy” or the neighboring “Victoria”, you will definitely get a much better overall experience, which you will certainly want to repeat.

I read the reviews the morning after dinner. What impressed me was that the manager left her contact number under one of the few reviews with a low rating. This is something I have rarely encountered (and I read and write a lot of reviews:). Admirations for that.

Great attitude, food and atmosphere.

The food is delicious (there were five of us and we tried quite a few things - all without complaint), the atmosphere is elegant and cozy, with quiet, pleasant music, the service is very friendly.

We are extremely pleased with the welcome of our waiter Andrey. He was kind, smiling and ready to help with the choice. Despite my great wonder and the necessity to avoid food groups in my diet, he was quite helpful with recommendations. In the end, I ate the traditional Armenian dish “Keshkek” of chicken boiled with bulgur, and my mother settled on the chicken soup and strained milk with cucumber and mint, with which one simply cannot go wrong. We also enjoyed the super crispy pinza, which for fans of pastry things will be heaven, and finally the homemade cake “Garash”, which impressed us with its walnut crusts. The wine was also good, the atmosphere was pleasant, almost like you are at home. There were quite a few people, but due to the presence of more rooms, it was quiet and we could talk without a problem. I recommend!

It was a bit of a funny situation from the start... We'd just landed, so we lost all our elegance and fashionable looks at passport control... So when we went to this restaurant specifically, we were probably misread by the staff, because they told us right away that it was a restaurant and there were two areas... one for eating, and the other for drinking.

The place is great for eating in the city center. It's quiet and the food is great
